It is possible to trace the origins of the Nursing Examination Board, Punjab back to the United India period before partition, when it administered examinations in the United Punjab. The NEBP has a vision for the future. It is a great and innovative evaluative body that helps to keep nursing education and practise at the highest possible level. Providers of trained and professional nursing practitioners are recruited through a standardised test system administered under the auspices of the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).

Since the establishment of Pakistan in 1947, the Nursing Examination Board of Sindh has conducted examinations for nursing students from all throughout Pakistan. This has continued until 1973. In 1973, the Pakistan National Council (PNC) ordered that all provinces conduct their examinations independently of one another.
NEBP Midwifery Result 2022
Sindh province continues to conduct examinations in its own province, however Balochistan and Frontier provinces were unable to hold tests due to administrative challenges in their own jurisdictions. The Nursing Examination Board of Punjab began conducting examinations in its own nursing institutions as well as the nursing institutions of the other two provinces (Balochistan and Frontier) in October 1980 and continued to do so till the present day.

Nursing & Midwifery Result 2022
Since March 1981, the Nursing Examination Board of Punjab has been in charge of conducting examinations for all categories of nursing students at nursing institutions throughout the province. In addition, Islamabad, Kashmir, Balochistan, and the Frontier provinces have begun to conduct their own examinations.
NEBP Nursing Exams Result 2022
The current Nursing Examination Board, Punjab Lahore was established under Section II of the Pakistan Nursing Council Act, 1973. It is a non-profit organisation. During that time, Ms. Painda Khan served as its Vice-Chairperson, while Ms. G M Dara served as the organization’s first Controller Nursing Examination Board of Punjab.
